Welcome to My Story:  

Hi, I'm Sylvia Fraser the founder and director of Christian Seminar & Training Service. I came to faith in Christ late in 1979 but it was not until my time in England, under the ministry of the late Selwyn Hughes and the team at CWR, that I truly came to know in a profound way, the love of Father God.

In England, broken before the Lord, I found the wonder and transforming grace of the Father heart of God, and began a journey towards wholeness from my deeply abusive past, that continues to this day.

It was there in England that God gave greater focus to my passion to serve Him and fashioned what has become my life direction for the past twenty-five years. I left England with such a longing to serve the body of Christ.

My passion was to facilitate other seekers on their healing journey, in a way that would open their heart to find an ever deepening relationship with 'Abba' our wonderful Heavenly Father. Knowing that in relationship they would, like me, find the fullness of 'Grace' they thirsted for. Then from that place of relational connectedness with Abba, go on to develop the skills needed to take His love to a broken world. Equipping them to “make visible the invisible heart of God” not only as a spiritual reality, but in practical ways, with practical answers.

The stretch has been huge as I first undertook my own healing journey, and then sought the skills needed to equip other people helpers to be a bridge of compassion to a hurting world.

From its beginnings in 1985 in Victoria, this ministry has evolved through various stages Beginning as a 'greeting card' ministry, which became an itinerant ministry known as “Sylvia Fraser Ministries” it later to be known as Christian Seminar & Training Services. My Qualifications and Experience  

My professional development has taken quite a few years. Over two years I studied for my Diploma with Y.W.A.M, then a Graduate Diploma with Charles Sturt and Griffith Universities. In the last year of my Diploma I wrote and had accredited the first version of the course. Five years later it was revamped and presented for reaccreditation in its current format.

This could not have occurred without the amazing dedication and considerable contribution of many friends and fellow journeymen who added their time, talents, resources and encouragement to enable these schools to live, it is from their efforts 'Christian Seminar & Training Services' came to life.

This has allowed me to work in a Sexual Assault Service, run a 'private' counselling practice, conduct workshops on life skills for Christians and non-Christians, chair the board of a local Community Centre, run volunteer training programs, work with marriages in crisis, develop and present discipleship programs, and present retreats on the Father Heart of God, amongst many other wonderful opportunities to reach out and touch others with God's Love.

Christian Seminar & Training Services  

Christian Seminars & Training Services (CS&TS) was founded as a vehicle to facilitate for others, the same wonderful, profoundly life-changing experience I encountered under the ministry of the late Selwyn Hughes and the ministry of CWR England. Christian Seminar & Training Services lives to serve God and His people through providing training, personal spiritual growth, insight, and skills for those with a passion to 'know God' and make Him visible in their communities.

Our heart at CS&TS is to raise up skilled people helpers and Pastoral Workers who can effectively reach into their communities with the Love of Father God, and fulfil the mandate of Isaiah 61: 'To proclaim the Good News', and to 'bind up the broken hearted', and it is our prayer that these trained and equipped workers, with tender mercy, would build bridges of compassion for the hurting to cross.

Through sound theological and psychological insights, these pastoral workers and people helpers are equipped to bring real answers to people in real pain right across the social structures of their communities.

Over the years CS&TS has helped train and up-skill many people who have also been encouraged to improve on personal strengths, identify any weaknesses that they may have, allowing them to become far more effective and efficient in their ministries or gifting.

But of equal importance to us is the personal and spiritual growth that those who simply do the Spiritual growth components of the program experience.
